Common questions

The things owners ask first.

What does it cost?

$159 a month, no deposit, on a 12-month initial term, then month-to-month. That covers the whole redesign, hosting, your Google Business Profile work and the local SEO around it, and up to three text or photo edits a month once you’re live. There is no deposit and no separate build fee: a build like this is $4,500 of work elsewhere, and we waive it in exchange for the 12-month term. Your first $159 is charged at checkout and starts the work, and if we never build a site you approve, your first monthly payment is refunded. Full details are in the published pricing on our home page.

When do I pay, and what happens then?

At checkout, right after you fill in a short form about your business, about two minutes. Your first $159 is charged there, and that is what starts the work. Right after you pay we ask a few quick questions, your social links, the areas you serve, anything you want us to know, and send a welcome note. Then we redesign your entire site, start to finish, and send you a private preview. The preview is a link to your finished site with an editing panel beside it: click any text to reword it, or leave a note on any page, then hit Send, and it comes straight to us without a phone call. We make the changes you send within 24 to 48 hours, and there is no limit on them before you approve. Nothing goes live until you say so.

What does the guarantee actually cover?

Your first monthly payment. You have weeks to review your site and ask for anything you want changed. If we can’t build a site you approve, your first monthly payment is refunded: no form, no deduction for the work we did. Payments from month two on pay for the extra weeks of building and changes, and those are not refunded. Once you approve, the guarantee has done its job; after that the cancellation rules in the terms apply.

Do I own my site and domain?

Yes. Your domain, your site, your content, your photos, your reviews, your customer data and your Google Business Profile are yours from day one, and owning them never depends on staying subscribed. Your domain stays registered in your name, and if you don’t have one yet and ask us to register it for you, that one goes in your name too and goes with you whichever way our relationship ends. Owning your site and holding its build files are two different things: we hold the working files while we host and run the site for you, and the next answer sets out the three ways they come across to you.

When do the site files become mine?

There are three ways, and only three. Each one hands over the files on the same two conditions: your payment has cleared, and you have signed the short delivery receipt we send you. The delivery receipt is one page: it names the files we are handing over and the date, and you sign it in your browser. That is the only thing we need from you.

  • Pay monthly to the end of the term. When your twelve months are paid, the site files are yours, as soon as your payment has cleared and you’ve signed the short delivery receipt we send you.
  • Leave early and settle. Pay $159 for each whole month left in the term and the files are yours on the same two conditions. Your subscription is cancelled and the service ends, hosting included, with 30 days to move.
  • Own it early and stay. From the day your site goes live you can settle the whole months still left in your term, and the files are yours on the same two conditions. Nothing about your service changes: your monthly billing stops for the rest of the year, because the settlement already covers those months, and it picks back up at $159 a month once the first year is up. Settle on the day your site launches and the files are yours that day.

Both cost exactly the same, and owning it early keeps your service running, so if you just want the files, that’s the one to ask for.

Can I own my site before the year is up?

Yes, and it is a normal thing to ask for. Settle what is left of the year, $159 for each whole month remaining, and the files are yours as soon as that payment clears and you have signed the short delivery receipt. Your service keeps running exactly as it is: your monthly billing stops for the rest of the year, because the settlement already covers those months, and it picks back up at $159 a month once the first year is up. This is different from cancelling. The clean break costs exactly the same and ends the service, hosting included, so if you want to keep the site running, this is the one to ask for.

What if I cancel early?

Cancelling inside the first year is that clean break, and it is not a separate thing with separate rules. You settle the whole months left on the term, $159 for each of them, and the site files become yours once that payment clears and you have signed the delivery receipt. What you are settling is the build you are taking with you, not months of service you will not use. Your subscription is cancelled, the service ends with it, hosting included, and you have 30 days to move the site to a host of your choosing. If you have not approved your site yet there is nothing to settle: the guarantee covers you instead. If we cannot build a site you approve, your first month is refunded, and payments from month two on are not.

Can I cancel anytime?

After your first year, yes: month-to-month with 30 days’ notice and no cancellation fee. Year one is a 12-month term, which is what the waived $4,500 build is exchanged for, so cancelling inside it settles the whole months left rather than walking away from them, and the files become yours when it does. To cancel, use the cancellation form on our website or call (208) 352-2899, and we confirm it in writing. Your site stays live through the period you’ve already paid for. And if you ever want to part ways, no hard feelings: we just don’t think you’ll have a reason to.

What happens after the 12 months?

Your service carries straight on at $159 a month, month-to-month, and you can end it with 30 days’ notice at any point. Nothing about what you get changes, and your rate is locked for the first 24 months. After that we give you notice before any price change, and you can cancel before it takes effect. If you reached the end of the term paying monthly, that is also when the site files become yours, once your final payment has cleared and you have signed the short delivery receipt. Locking your rate does not shorten the term: cancel inside the first year and you settle the whole months left (the same amount owns the site early); without that settlement the site files stay with us.

What if I want to leave after I own it?

Then you take your site and go, and we help you do it. You have the files, your domain is already in your name, and we hand over a complete working copy and help you re-point the domain to whatever host you choose. There is no exit fee, no countdown, and nothing is switched off to make you hurry. Month-to-month means 30 days’ notice, and your site stays live through the period you have already paid for.

What if I do not control my domain?

Talk to us before you pay. Your domain is your web address, and to put your new site on it, someone has to be able to sign in to the account where it’s registered. Not sure where yours lives, or did an old web person set it up years ago? Send us a message at the bottom of this page and we’ll help you check, free, before you spend anything. If you’re already under way and access turns out to be a problem, we help you find your domain and get back into it. If it truly can’t be recovered, we can launch your finished site on a temporary web address we provide while you sort it out, then move it to your own domain at no extra charge. And if you don’t have a domain at all, tell us and we can register one for you, in your name.

What happens if I decide not to go live?

Then nothing goes live. No hard feelings, no pressure. You see a real redesign of your own site, and you get unlimited changes before you approve. If we can’t build a site you approve, your first month is refunded. You keep your domain either way.

How long does it take?

We get the job done, usually in about 7 days or less, from the time we have what we need, provided you’re available to review and approve along the way. Once you say “make it live,” going live takes a little longer if we’re carefully moving an existing site that’s already getting calls.

Will you get me to the top of Google?

No honest company can promise a specific ranking. Google decides that, and anyone who guarantees the top spot is selling smoke. What we promise is the work: a fast site built to be found, a real page for each service and area, your name, address, and phone listed the same everywhere, and a Google Business Profile we keep current.

Will I lose my Google rankings when you move my site?

What wrecks a redesign is changing your web addresses and letting Google lose track of your pages. We do not do that. We map every page on your current site first, keep every address exactly as it is, and check each one loads correctly before anything goes live. Nobody can promise Google rankings. They belong to Google, and they move on their own whether you touch your site or not. What we promise is the part that is ours: your pages, your addresses and your content come across intact, on a faster site.

What about my business email?

Your email doesn’t have to move with your website. We check where your email lives before we touch anything, and nothing about it changes unless you ask us to.

What does maintenance include?

Once your redesign is approved and live, the monthly fee covers hosting, keeping your site secure and backed up, and the Google Business Profile and local-listings work. That last part is a big deal, and it starts the day you go live: a named person builds up your profile and keeps your listings current, month after month. Maintenance also includes up to three minor text or photo edits a month once you’re live, the small edits that keep your site fresh. You ask for those the same way you asked for changes to your preview: on the page we give you, click the text you want changed or leave a note describing the edit, then hit Send. No phone call, and we make the changes within 24 to 48 hours. During your build, before approval, changes are unlimited. It doesn’t cover full redesigns or major rebuilds, which are a separate project.

Do you handle my Google reviews?

We do the machinery around them, and you keep the conversation. We claim or set up your Google Business Profile and walk you through Google’s verification, fill it out properly (categories, services, service areas, hours, description, attributes and your opening photos), do the local SEO that puts you in front of people searching, and then watch the profile month after month and fix or flag what breaks, including Google’s own automatic edits. Replying to reviews, answering questions on your profile and posting are yours: your customers are choosing a person, and that voice should be yours rather than a marketing company’s. It is the right split, and it is the one that reads as genuine to the people you want calling you.

What if my hours, classes, or event times change all the time?

Then you should not have to call us every time one moves. We put them on a Google Calendar that belongs to you, on your own Google account, and show it on your site. You add, change, or cancel an event in Google Calendar the way you already do on your phone, and your site updates itself. You do not need our permission, you do not use up your monthly changes, and you never wait on us. We set it up during your build. One thing to know, so you can decide: a calendar like this is great for people already on your site, but search engines cannot read inside it, so if you want an event itself to be findable in search, tell us and we will handle that event as a page instead.

What is not included, and what is out of scope?

We redesign fast, focused sites that turn visitors into calls and business, not web apps. So there are no logins, customer databases, or member areas. If you already use a customer or lead tool, we tie your site into it, like the CRM, booking, and payment-link tie-ins we already do, so inquiries land where you can act on them. Anything that changes constantly, like event dates, class times, or seasonal hours, goes on a calendar you control and update yourself. If you need a truly custom built-in system rather than a third-party tool, that’s outside what we do, and we’ll tell you straight.

What kinds of businesses do you build for?

Any local business. If your customers find you locally (a trade, a restaurant, a shop, a clinic, a salon, a studio, an auto shop, anything else), we build for you. Don’t have a website yet? We generally only do redesigns, so send us a message at the bottom of this page and we’ll talk your options through.

Will ChatGPT or other AI tools cite me?

We can’t promise any AI tool will name you (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and more), and you should distrust anyone who guarantees it, because the AI tools decide. What we control is building your site so that when they look for a business like yours, yours is easy to find and mention by name: every service on its own page, clear pages for each area, and your information laid out the way these tools read it.

Who handles hosting?

We do. Hosting is included: a secure site (the padlock in the browser), daily backups, and hosting built on Hostinger, which publishes a 99.9% monthly uptime figure. You don’t manage servers or plugins, that’s the whole point of “done for you.”
